This pair of pants was a year long project for me sourcing patches from various flea markets, thrift stores, donations etc. Patches are sewn on with a mixture of hand and machine stitching. This process was done over a long period of time because of the specific placement that was involved. Every patch was placed in a specific location in relation to the other patches and the empty spaces are filled in with sashiko style hand stitching.
